Thursday Night Group
THE THURSDAY NIGHT GROUP (TNG) is an ongoing experiment in "intentional community" to help us explore, grow and mature in our faith by creating spaces where we can live life together as close, supportive, authentic communities. It is one of an expanding network of small, intentional communities of men and women committed to helping each other extend their "reach."
TNG meets weekly at the home of Sammy and Renee' Wood a block north of the church. The group is on hiatus for the summer, but we'll start back up on September 4, 2008. TNG aims to be:
- Relational
Building intimate friendships over meals and through service - Informational
Learning together (whether from the Bible, a poem, a book or a film) in order to be "formed" as Christians - Devotional
Praying the Angelus and the offices of Evening Prayer and Compline together on Thursdays, and worshiping with the gathered parish on Sundays - Missional
Seeking to serve other group members, the broader parish family and our city
