The Theology Book Club meets regularly in the parish house or in the home of a club member to discuss books and other documents of interest to club members. Sometimes the books are recent; somtimes they are selected from among the classics.

The theology book club has read and discussed a wide variety of books. Here are some examples:


  1. John Milton's Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained,

  2. Selections from C.S. Lewis's A Preface to Paradise Lost,

  3. JohnHenry Newman's Apologia Pro Vita Sua,

  4. The Encyclical Letter “Deus Caritas Est" of Pope Benedict XVI.,

  5. The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis,

  6. The prose and poetry of George Herbert,

  7. Selected works of T.S. Eliot, G.K. Chesterton's Orthodoxy.
